Japanese ceramic coating for everyday vehicles
GLASS X is a Japanese hand-applied ceramic coating. Its transparent finish preserves the vehicle's true color without absorbing light, making it suitable for vivid paintwork and newer cars where retaining visual depth matters.
The coated surface repels water, reduces the adhesion of grime and feels slicker, making normal washing easier. It can be maintained with car shampoo or wax that is suitable for coated paint.
A balance of hardness, clarity and maintainability
The ceramic layer has a hardness rating of 8H and a thickness of 6–8 microns. According to the product documentation, it helps slow paint deterioration, reduces the effects of UV exposure and withstands heat without igniting.
